Lor Gislason started writing professionally in 2020, releasing non-fiction appreciation pieces and horror critiques. Fiction found its way to the page, however, and so it was their novella Inside Out that really made an impact.

Out now from DarkLit Press, the book is packed with blood, guts, and general goopy grossness. It’s a page-turner dedicated to one thing: entertaining you with disgusting ooze.

“[Before publishing in 2020,] I wrote in high school but I don’t know if that really counts,” Gislason said. “Cheesy high school poems and stuff.”
